We are pleased to announce that our project Villa Porto-Vecchio with its Kebony wooden terrace has won the Paris Design Awards 2021 which recognizes and celebrates the diversity of design practices across France.
This is our second villa project in Corsica, delivered in 2019, and consists of a redevelopment of an existing property. In this protected site, the conservation laws oriented us towards a subtle renovation of the existing building. We reworked the mineral base with an arcade providing shade and an elongated terrace area opening on to the garden. Above, the house unfolds onto a large wooden deck with an integrated infinity pool suspended between the sea and sky. We modified the existing façade, creating large openings allowing the sea views to permeate the interiors.
