AW² designed the interiors of the FV Hospital maternity ward to create a state of the art, welcoming environment for patients. AW² previously delivered the architecture and interior fittings of the FV Hospital in 2003, and this renovation project of the maternity ward inscribes itself in our long-term relationship with the client, with the aim of achieving a renewed level of excellence in the services on offer for welcoming and caring for the maternity patients.

Sustainability, financial return and efficiency were at the heart of our concept: all the existing walls and partitions were kept, and we focused on the perception of spaces, on materials, as well as on decoration and lighting. The rooms (single, double and VIP suites) draw inspiration from the hotel industry and offer a comfortable experience for patients, newborns and their visitors, as well as for the medical staff. The shapes and colours of this bespoke interior design project contribute to the creation of a soft and welcoming atmosphere, with certain details such as the lotus leaf-shaped wall lights providing a contemporary nod to the local culture.
