Designed by AW², Joseph 2.0 – the new vinification centre for Maison Krug – is now under construction in Ambonnay, France.
Named in homage of the founder Joseph Krug, Joseph 2.0 concentrates the Champagne House’s oenological activities within a modern and functional complex.
The project is composed of two large naves that host the new cellars below and whose curved form and copper-coloured roofs blend the complex into the site situated on the periphery of the town of Ambonnay and the vineyards beyond.
Designed in collaboration with GNAT Engineering, the Krug Champagne vinification centre complements the Krug Family House project delivered by AW²in 2016 in Reims, France.
