There is a large stone temple, hidden for centuries in a dense forest. It’s a dreamlike landscape. Stone faces and columns rise from the ground, dividing space with dense roots. The vestige of a Cambodian kingdom, it is a historic temple: the majestic Angkor Wat.
In addition to it, the forest was cleared and made room for a busy urban center. Here, the ancient architecture gives in to the rush of a tourist city. There is a confusion of motorcycles and cars, the strong aroma of markets and large conurbations.
A few kilometers away from this scene, is installed one of the famous resorts of Zannier Hotels. It’s an oasis in the chaos of Siem Reap. It is built in a huge area of green fields, palm trees and close to rice fields.
