COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER

Reporting to the External Relations Director, the Communications Officer is responsible for implementing the agency’s communications strategy, in line with the direction and priorities set by the management team.

He/She is in charge of managing the day-to-day communications activities in direct coordination with the External Relations Director.

EXTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS

• Implement the agency’s communications strategy and propose new topics, content and formats.
• Media relations: manage journalist enquiries in coordination with the PR agency, prepare interviews and organise press trips, monitor media coverage and maximise the visibility of press features.
• Write, develop and lay out press kits, press releases, newsletters, presentations and other communications materials, ensuring consistency with the agency’s visual identity.
• Visual content: select and curate images and graphic materials, applying an editorial and architectural perspective, for approval by the External Relations Director.
• Photography / video: organise and oversee photo shoots, video productions and external contractors.
• Awards, conferences and exhibitions: monitor opportunities, propose and prepare submissions, coordination and follow up on applications and participation.

DIGITAL COMMUNICATIONS

• Implement the agency’s digital communications strategy across Instagram and LinkedIn.
• Develop and manage the editorial calendar, identifying projects and news to highlight.
• Create, write and prepare social media content.
• Website: update and curate website content, including copy and visual assets.
• Propose new content and formats to strengthen and enrich the agency’s digital presence.
• Monitor KPIs, analyse performance and recommend improvements.
• Monitor trends and benchmark digital communications practices across the architecture, design, hospitality, luxury and creative industries.

INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS & EVENTS

• Write and produce the monthly internal newsletter.
• Organise and coordinate studio events.
• Organise and carry out photo shoots for new team members, including image selection and editing.
• Contribute to showcasing the agency’s day-to-day life, activities and news.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT

• Update the agency’s portfolios, project books and presentation materials.
• Provide occasional support with the preparation and layout of client presentations.

PROFILE

Master’s degree (or equivalent, five years of higher education) in communications, public relations, architecture, design, cultural studies or a related field.

At least 5–8 years of professional experience, ideally within an architecture or design practice, the hospitality or luxury sectors, or an international creative environment.

Full professional proficiency in both English and French, with excellent writing skills in both languages.

Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign is essential. Good working knowledge of content management systems (CMS) and Microsoft Office. Strong expertise of Instagram and LinkedIn.

Creativity, curiosity, responsiveness, reliability, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously are essential.

Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong interest in architecture, design, visual culture and contemporary culture are required.
