PROJECT ARCHITECT – HEAD OF QUALITY & PROCESS

As part of its development, AW² is looking to recruit an Architect – Head of Quality & Process, in charge of the agency’s Standards (Basics) and Technical Library. The position requires 7 to 10 years of experience within an architectural practice, working on international projects, ideally in high-end hospitality and/or residential sectors. Excellent proficiency in CAD/BIM tools is essential, along with professional-level English. Available quickly to join the AW² team in Paris.

The Head of Quality & Process is responsible for structuring, developing, and managing the internal library of AW² standard elements (known as Basics) used across the studio’s projects: aesthetic details, construction details, technical systems, etc.

This transversal role – working with all Design Teams – aims to rationalize and harmonize document production while ensuring the coherence, quality, and durability of the solutions implemented in the projects. The architect will ensure the aesthetic and technical standards, oversee their regular updates, and communicate to all teams.

Candidate profile:

• Architect with experience in interior architecture
• 7 to 10 years’ background in an architectural practice on international projects, ideally high-end hospitality and/or residential
• Strong knowledge of construction systems, materials, and technical documentation
• Experience in developing or managing internal aesthetic and technical standards
• Proficiency in CAD/BIM tools (Revit, AutoCAD, etc.), Microsoft Office, and Adobe Suite (InDesign)
• Ability to manage a wide variety of projects simultaneously
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Ability to conduct meetings
• Service-oriented – both internally and externally – and a solid commitment to serving the collective interest
• Adaptability and flexibility
• Clear and effective communication skills
• Ability to manage teams both directly and transversally
• High level of autonomy, rigor, analytical mindset, and stress management
• Professional proficiency in English
